The Schomburg Clipping file is composed of periodical and newspaper clippings selected from the archives of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. These materials deal with the global history and culture of black people as well as the black experience, primarily in the United States, during the period 1925-1974. This collection includes typescripts, broadsides, pamphlets and other types of ephemera.
