Streaming Audio and Video in the UB Libraries

Streaming audio and videos are now part of the UB Libraries collections. One of the easiest ways to find a title is to use a keyword search in the Catalog. Enter a keyword with the words “streaming video” or "streaming audio". For example: nutrition “streaming video”

Select a title from the list of search results, and there will be link on the page to start your video.

Certain streaming titles are also embedded into the catalog record. For these titles, the sound recording or video can be played directly from the catalog. For titles with multiple chapters, you will have to click on the chapter links at the bottom to load that section of the item. For example:

  • physical examination streaming video
  • anxiety disorders streaming audio

Currently there are more than 1000 streaming titles available, with new ones added regularly. The Libraries are committed to increasing the number of online resources available to make teaching, studying and research easier for our students and faculty.

See also the page Digital Campus. Swank Digital Campus provides more than 19,000 feature films, classic films, and documentaries that can be embedded directly into the Blackboard course management system by instructors.
