Historical Note

In 2000 the Niagara County Environmental Fund awarded a grant to the Niagara Falls Public Library to collect information on area institutions' historic document collections pertaining to the Love Canal area disaster. The project archivist hired to do this was Kathleen DeLaney, part-time project archivist at the University at Buffalo University Archives.


Scope and Content Note

The collection includes documents related to the administration of the grant; correspondence, bibliographies, and other search related materials; articles and publications; conferences; OxyChem materials; and documents pertaining to related grants.

Arranged in four series: I. Administrative, II. Love Canal Repositories, III. Reference Materials, and IV. Related Grants. Within those series, the records are arranged alphabetically, then chronologically unless otherwise specified.
